Sebastian

A Day in the Life: Junior Year

"I love how faculty works with everyone as an individual."

- Sebastian

College-Bound Athlete

Sebastian came to Brewster because he wanted a school that both helped him achieve his athletic goals and prepared him academically.

In Brewster's renowned prep basketball program under coach Jason Smith, Sebastian can play with top-tier athletes and train year-round in front of college coaches. He also plays on Brewster's Nike-sponsored EYBL team, which travels nationally for elite tournaments during the winter season. While Brewster's basketball program is unique, all of our interscholastic athletes have the opportunity to train off-season, compete at a high level, and prepare for playing at the next level.

Brewster also ensures that players are seen as more than just athletes. A crucial role of the Brewster experience is engaging in the community and building strong relationships along the journey.

Sebastian's Afternoons throughout the Year

A school where you can BE YOU

Discover how Sebastian pursues his interests and spends his weekends below.

Quad Cup

On the weekends, you can often find Sebastian competing in Quad Cup events. Based on your assigned dorms, the four "quads" on campus tally points throughout the year through fun activities like kickball, volleyball, challenges at Morning Meeting, and more.

Community Events

The word "community" is used a lot at Brewster, so it should be no surprise that school events help bring the student body together. One such event is Community Dinner (pictured here), when students pull out their formal wear for a special meal.

Grayson Student Center

During his downtime, you can often find Sebastian in the Grayson Student Center or on the terrace (pictured here). Equipped with delicious food and drinks from the Palmer Cafe, multiple lounges, and ample space, the student center is a popular place in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
