A Day in the Life: Senior Year

“I love Brewster because of how much the teachers push you out of your comfort zone to try new things in the classroom and bring your creative side out.”

Interim Studies: Getting Life Guard Certification

Every year, students immerse themselves in a new experience for Interim Studies. This experiential learning period happens at the end of the winter trimester and is always highly anticipated by students and faculty alike.
In his sophomore year, Christian signed up for Life Guard Certification.

During Interim Studies, he was able to get lifeguard certified by completing the online coursework and passing the pool training portion. Since then, he's taken advantage of the certification in the summers for his summer job!

Whether students are earning certifications, diving into a new skill, traveling around the country and world, or anything in between, Interim Studies has something for everyone. Learn more about the program here.
