A Day in the Life: Junior Year
"Every day is just something different."
- Miller
The Neurodiversity Alliance
Miller joined Brewster’s Neurodiversity Alliance and now serves as Vice President, finding leadership and purpose through advocacy and community.
As part of the national Neurodiversity Alliance, Brewster’s chapter works to improve the educational experience and outcomes of students who learn differently. Brewster offers a wide range of clubs and affinity groups that reflect students’ passions and identities, helping them build connection, confidence, and a sense of belonging. Through this work, students are empowered to lead conversations that matter to them.
As a member of the ND Alliance, Miller has helped lead initiatives and workshops, including a session during Brewster’s Equity Week.

A school where you can BE YOU
Discover how Miller pursues his interests and spends his weekends below.
Student Leadership
Miller applied for student leadership during his junior year to positively impact other students’ experiences. He values the opportunity to meet everyone at the start of the year and welcome new students to campus, and he also enjoys planning fun events for his dorm and academic team.
Brewster Goes to Birmingham
During his sophomore year, Miller traveled to Birmingham for Interim Studies. The unforgettable experience allowed him to learn about the Civil Rights Movement in the very place it unfolded, guided by individuals who lived through it. More about the Birmingham trip can be found in our 2025 Brewster Magazine feature.
From North Carolina
Miller is from North Carolina and chose Brewster for its strong academic program and close-knit community. He remains deeply connected to his family throughout the school year (pictured here during Fall Family Weekend), and that sense of connection extends to Brewster as well. His family is actively involved in the school community and stays engaged year-round; last summer, they even hosted a reception for Brewster families and alums in the Charlotte area, strengthening ties between Brewster and the broader community.
